Frequently Asked Questions

What is pampas grass
Pampas Grass is a natural product typically grown in humid climates however it can be grown all over the world - you might even see it in the UK especially in coastal areas.
Our pampas grasses are dried and therefore do not require to be watered. When properly cared for, pampas can last for years!
The pampas length refers to the total measurement of each item, the plume length refers to the length of each of the plume flowers (the fluffy bits) on each stem.

What to do with your pampas grass when it arrives
Our pampas grass is delivered in cardboard packaging that can be fully recycled. They may initially look a little 'flat' from their journey to you. To 'fluff' them up we recommend placing them in a sunny spot for a couple of days to allow them to naturally fall in to place. Alternatively you can gently use a hairdryer on each stem, make sure to rotate each stem and keep the hairdryer at least 40cm away from the item. It is completely normal for pampas to shed a little during this process.

Caring for your pampas grass
Your pampas grass will last best in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight and draughts. Around every 6 months we suggest taking your pampas grass outside in dry weather and gently shaking each stem  to remove any accumulated dust. It is normal for pampas to occasionally shed however you can spray a little hairspray on each plume to minimise this. We recommend handling your pampas grasses as little as possible.

How should I style my product
Of course interior styling all comes down to personal taste.
Heather likes monochromatic bold tones while Joa prefers softer coastal vibes.
Our Instagram page @Wildbells will show you a number of different ways that you can style our products! Generally, vases with a smaller neck require less pampas stems to fill them as it will hold them in an upright position. You can trim the ends of the pampas to suit specific vase heights when required.
